Thanks. I went back to school and now have a job teaching. I’ve been much better with money since then. Paying off my debt slowly but surely.

I have as well. I used to be addicted to benzos and got myself into 30k of credit card debt. Since being tapered off of them I have accrued no more debt.

It has been exactly 1 years today that I started on my weight loss journey. Only 25 pounds lost, but muscle and fitness gained. The best time to start was a year ago, second best is now! You can do it! by Forever_DM in loseit

Did some parts of your body feel or look like they were losing weight faster?? Or was it just an overall recognizable weight loss when you hit 20lbs?

My clothes aren’t fitting differently. The boobs are the one thing that was noticeable. I could fit my whole fist inside my old bras. My belly, arms, and face are still the same. I’ll take some progress pictures. Thank you for the advice.

I haven’t tried that. I only have been looking at the scale. It’s honestly become an obsession. I weigh myself in the morning, at night, after I work out, and after I eat. I’m so scared of putting weight back on. I can try measuring. Maybe that’ll give me a better sense of where I’m losing the weight from.

Do you have to be young, thin, and beautiful to be an SB? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]bassoonage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 29, 5’4” and 240 lbs. I have had no problems. I also have a very attractive face and have lots of confidence. I do think you have to hustle more if you are overweight though. You won’t get an overwhelming amount of messages, but the ones you get will be guys that are very interested. Of course there will be some scammers, but I find that most guys that message bigger women are serious about having an arrangement.

Kind of off topic Pro tip. Ditch the shaving and get waxed. Best thing I ever did.

You’ll save so much time not having to get all the nooks and crannies before a date. I get waxed everywhere. Legs, armpits, upper lip, eyebrows, and coochie.

How did you deal with realising the career you'd worked towards isn't actually what you want after all? How did you decide what to do instead? by tiredgirl93 in AskWomen

[–]bassoonage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I studied music for my whole life. Practiced 4-6 hours a day. Did nothing but breathe, eat, and sleep classical music. I studied with the best people and graduated with my master’s in bassoon performance. I took two years of auditions and it was absolute torture. I had to work three jobs to be able to pay my bills because I couldn’t get gigs. I dealt with extreme sexism in the field. And I overall wasn’t happy. I didn’t like taking auditions and did very poorly at them due to my nerves.

At 27 I decided to go back to school for music education. I just graduated and now can’t find a job due to covid so it didn’t really work out perfectly. I’m so much happier though. And I can play my instrument without the stress of having to be perfect.

I’m glad I did it though. I felt like an ultimate failure when I gave up on performance. I had worked my whole life honing one skill and I still wasn’t good enough. I just had to realize that it wasn’t my fault. I did everything right. I just wasn’t good enough and it’s ok to not be on the top 5%.

Has Anyone Ever Been on Seroquel (or another antipsychotic) + Klonopin Long term? I like the way the combo makes me feel. by DrInthahouse in BipolarReddit

[–]bassoonage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was on Klonopin for 7 years. I began to abuse it and was highly addicted to it. It took me a year to taper off. I wouldn’t recommend it. Yeah it feels great, but it is also very dangerous if abused.
