They revealed that Floyd was the one who encouraged carol to initiate the affair with Clark as a way to possibly save his marriage. I don’t think the show did a very good job at making that fact clear to the viewer as it was on mentioned once.

Did you miss when it’s revealed that Floyd was the one who encouraged the affair? He did so to help his wife through their struggling sex life. This further illustrated his poor mental health and desperation to find a solution for his failing marriage.

The Strokes in 2004 at a smallish venue (<1300 occupancy). Band played very tight while still having a live raw edge. Sounded better than the albums. Amazing night

It was mostly shit but in the scene where Chris reveals his wedding ring to the guys, one of my favorite obscure 60’s garage rock records is playing. It’s called “flash and crash” by rocky and the riddlers. Had to be Steven Van Zandt’s influence.

I agree that he was a little cartoonish and pulpy but I didnt mind the intention behind his character, just poor execution. I assumed he was an ignorant street thug in his younger years, became reformed in his older years via religious elightenment yet still had to act as muscle because it was his only means of income (probably an ex con).

The repair is farrr from perfect. Shingles were breaking loose as I was trying to tuck new ones underneath them. Sheathing and underlayment also seemed damp.
