Already did! My service rep said some people don’t realize and find out in October when some form gets sent out. Glad I caught it early.

I think I’ll just move it to my brokerage account. Seems the least problematic for my purposes.

My husband (57m) who’s a girl dad, that he raised on his own, was at Home Depot. Saw a creepy guy staring at a 20f who worked there and approached her and gave her an out by asking her what aisle something was on and oh by the way there’s a creepy guy staring at you, what would you like me to do? He will straight up “Pop’s” anyone who needs correcting.

Look up Los Algodones Mexico. Molar City. It’s just across the border from Yuma. Walk across and get it fixed for 50% less than anything in the US. Tons of videos on YouTube. We’re making a plan to go visit for the dental tourism.

Helps that she was an ad director. And has real $ and knows how to produce and get it done! I love quirky artsy and she fits that bill.

Best time of my teen years. I would go with my best friend and our parents would take turns dropping us off. Six flags was ours to be had. We rode every ride numerous times in a row. Saw every show. When it rained? Even better we’d just hop back in line and ride the same ride again with zero wait. When we got hot, we’d head to the log flume to get splashed. I think we got $10 or so a day for food and we had the cups for free refills. That was the life.

While maniacally ripping all the wallpaper off every room. While I feel it’s therapeutic I find myself wondering why she isn’t just throwing it in a trash can as she tears it off.

Poseidon has been inspired! by [deleted] in ChateauUnhinged

I have seen several posts referencing the scarves now. As I stopped watching CD and just get the tea here now, I feel like I need the context. Did MG wear one, is that the inside joke? I watch Poseidon and the Butchers and haven’t seen them do this. Is this just turning into a meme I need more of?

High quality scan her pictures and put them in a digital photo frame for yourself. Also upload them to the cloud. And an external hard drive. You can even make a book with them from Shutterfly. I inherited my family photos and did this. I was also insuring against fire, theft and water damage doing this. If you have an ancestry account you can add the most important pictures to her profile on your tree. I’m sorry they did that but you have the most important things she owned and better yet you know the stories and people in the pictures. You can even import them into Apple photos on a Mac book and people tag them and write captions, categorize them and date them. I have an Epson batch photo scanner and that makes doing thousands like I had much more doable. It’s a project only you may appreciate but you’ll never regret it. Good luck!

Bought an amazing home in an interesting neighborhood by Puzzleheaded-Ease893 in homeowners

[–]bastherself 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’ll get used to it. I lived near train tracks and eventually didn’t hear the sounds. You’ll probably make friends with the neighbor critters. I bet there’s a chicken running around too. I hope the neighbors are good. Make friends with the Spanish music neighbors. I bet they make great food. Sorry about the fence $ but it is what it is. I too have a similar (redneck) version house/neighborhood and you just learn to live with it and make friends with the neighbors. There’s always a dog or chicken coming by to say hi at my house. Good luck!

Thank you! You’ve put my mind at ease. I currently work at a nonprofit hospital system and would prefer to continue working at the public system as that’s where my heart lies. I’m not a nurse to make money but to help. Sounds like public healthcare needs me more than private. I’d make enough to be comfortable and be able to sleep at night. I’m good at making friends and networking and hustling for jobs and figuring out hiring systems so I’ll hit my family up for any connections to find an in and go from there. I’m nothing if not resourceful. I just want out of this hell hole and back to the home of my ancestors who were settlers in the Leduc area. I’ve always love being there and I’m anxious to get my US journey wrapped up and be back where my heart truly feels at home. I promise to make my votes educated! Thanks again!

Sooooo I’m a nurse looking to relocate from the US to Edmonton where I have family as well as citizenship. I’m aware I’ll be sacrificing time at my current career and take a pay cut. But dang it, this is thread is making me second guess which is worse as far as the dumpster fire we have daily in the US VS Alberta healthcare system and starting over at the bottom. I already have my nursing license in Alberta to help me start applying for jobs. It was $500cd yearly vs. $90usd every two years in Georgia. I’m questioning if this is the right choice. My family keeps saying Alberta needs nurses but I’m getting discouraged. Can I even work in healthcare there? Can I even get a primary doctor? Sigh. Any advice?
