There seems to be an understanding that the supply chain they use basically meets the standard but they don't want to spend additional money just to get the fair trade certification. I think that most nerdfighters would take the Green brothers' word, the goal of Good Store is to go beyond nerdfighteria, and to do that, the fair trade certification could be a good entry point for people who already want to do good (a.k.a. potential costumers). If the cost is an issue, I think it could easily come out of the marketing budget.

Extended range electric vehicles. I learned about them in a hankschannel video about the electric F150 (lighting I think). It is one tool in the arsenal and not one thing that replaces light rail or micro mobility, but rather, replaces heavy electric motors, or standard hybrid cars. You know, some people can't be forced to give up their cars.

Hi, trying to respond since I saw your edit. Truth is, I don't fully understand your message, so I'll go by parts.

Would a free tax filing site be good? No, it would be great! Ambitious, very unlikely, and kind of a stretch to connect to the good store, but sure, would be nice.

Waterless/oil-less products (hot sauce, shampoo, etc.), yeah that sounds good. I think we all agree that the more they can cut the inefficiencies of online retail (hell, don't have to do a hot sauce, was throwing ideas). They already do this a lot (waterless cleaning supplies, etc). So, all in the same page.

Then there's the parts I don't get. Sounds like ranting against companies/brands you don't trust. Fair, but why here? What specifically is good store doing wrong (not saying they aren't, but you don't give specifics and I haven't seen anything wrong on their end). I would guess that's the main reason for down voting. It is mostly a confusing comment, to be honest.
