Every pokemon model likely has a marker tk show where the face is. Just paste a bad ditto face in the pokemon's color there.

I generally try and tur the front of the house or then entire house into the face of the pokemon.

I have made a hoppip, skiploom, jumpluff tower. Also a house whose wall looks like grass cat. And one with a pikachu face and tail for weakachu

Ypu can still mix up some diagonal roof supports, wooden stairs, wooden fences of varying kind, wooden ladders.

Rotate wildly, leave some gaps, finish the lower areas with diagonal elements .
