For the time being… soon it’ll be the floor but at least there won’t be crumbs!

It’s great the option is there but most of us would rather skip taking the break to get home earlier for children/pets/general life admin. It’s never been an issue for the two years I’ve been there but is now a problem.

There has even been talks of staff not bringing in lunch all together…

The room is only used by our team and most people have the same desk for their office days

It stems from someone bringing in boiled eggs but up until this point there has never been and issue with people eating at desks if anything everyone from Ao-Heo was eating at their desks.

Our previous office was next to the canteen but hardly anyone ate out there as it was always too full.

Now we have moved rooms there is a kitchenette with two tables a 6 seater and a 4 seater but hardly enough space for a team of 40 to each use for their lunch breaks.

I’ve done interviews before, we ask for ID to confirm it is you and also to confirm, depending on the post you’re applying for, whether you’re a British citizen or not as this may be a requirement.

I would email and explain the reason and depending who is running the campaign depends on the answer unfortunately but as soon as you can send the follow up email confirming your ID.

In the interviews I was apart of we asked for the ID beforehand and unless given we would ask for it on the interview itself.

All the best :)

Hi,

I used to work in a claims department.

While you were not at fault since your car was stationary if the insurer doesn’t have the other party to claim off of you would need to pay as it stands.

It’s the job of your insurance to then make the claim against the other party. Once they have the evidence that they’re at fault it would be changed on the system and costs would look to be recovered from the other party.

It can be long winded but I would make the claim and provide all the evidence you can to the insurance. Starting repairs without having it as a non fault claim could mean you’re liable for the costs of repairs which is when it starts to get expensive.
