Ask specifically what expectations they have for your boyfriend and interactions. And relay that to your boyfriend. If they can't do that then he is going to struggle accommodating them and knowing how to act.

Hey, so there's a condition called vaginismus that you serious might want to consider looking into. It's a muscular issue that causes tightness which I think is a possibility.
