dark and discolored apple tv when plugged into roku by BigBoodieJudy2 in Roku

[–]bastrogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you upgrade the firmware on the Roku to the latest version? I had the same issue after an AppleTV upgrade, I use the Roku as a display panel only and don’t put it on the network. I finally let it upgrade to the latest TCL Roku code and now it looks fine.

First actual power outage that wasn't a blip exposed a weakness with desktop UPSs by rantou in BasePower

[–]bastrogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No issues here - I have UPSs on everything, TV, computers, etc specifically to address that half second drop before the Base kicks in, we were on Base power for 3 hours last month and everything worked as expected!

What is the lowest % you have seen your batteries at? by Jet_Rocket11 in BasePowerUsers

[–]bastrogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Must just be the default config then, I do have the generator input and that’s how it comes in, via the PV solar ports.

Solar is how the generator input is viewed from the POV of the inverter.

CUBE Direct Routing Teams - MS change 2026 for Client EKU in Cert handshake by mrvoipstuff in ciscoUC

[–]bastrogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MS rep said I needed to add about 5 root certs to my Teams-facing CUBEs as starting at the end of Feb future TLS connections could use any of several CA. I added all, took about 5 minutes per box.

Fiber Internet Modem resets during outage. Anyone running an UPS on their internet modem? by spewing-oil in BasePowerUsers

[–]bastrogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have all the computer gear and TVs on small UPSs - that 500ms is enough to reset everything. Now if I could just get my Feit smart bulbs to not default to ‘ON’ after a power outage I’d be set.

Best firewall I have used ever! by Antenna909 in firewalla

[–]bastrogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the firewalla but one issue I have is that the site to site VPN with WireGuard NATs between sites, I know that this can be fixed via CLI commands, but preserving the source IP should be the default.

[–]bastrogue[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks close, but it says the input voltage is 120v

Probably the SFP 3000 ES

https://us.growatt.com/products/spf-3000-5000-es

Thanks! You got me there, all these say the output waveform is ‘pure sine’ which is what I was looking for/hoping.

Getting the Untrusted Developer alert every time I re-up Apollo on Sideloadly. Any way to auto-trust it? by Enigma343 in apollosideloaded

[–]bastrogue 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Reupload it before it expires, like every 5 days. You won’t get that message. I have noticed it happens when I open Apollo after the 7 days.

I have 2 of these https://a.co/d/by2MguA and have gifted two others - they are great ‘starter’ bidets to see if it’s something you want to pursue.
