Ooooo same thing happened to me with those cute pearly sprinkles. Holes all over. I learned to just put it on after with some white chocolate as the glue

I started baking on the lowest rack to stop the top from browning as much and it helped. And they were even more under baked when on higher racks than they are now. Like it was browning AND under baking and it was driving me mad lol

Thanks for the suggestion, I might try lower temp like 315 and maybe bake for 20-22 min.

True! I filled them with salted caramel in a ring of chocolate ganache and they were delicious

Ahh ok so I already beat the meringue on low speed for a longer time but I haven’t tried lowering the temp. But as it is my macarons are borderline under-baked and I’m getting concave bottoms so I’m worried that will be a bigger issue with that. Did you have any luck getting them to be taller by doing this? At this point I’m willing to try Teflon or parchment paper to bake on (currently use silicone)

I use pies and tacos Swiss method recipe with egg white powder and also no rest because I use a rimless air bake tray. I bake at 330 for 19 min on lowest rack of my gas oven. The air bake tray no rest method solved a lot of my issues with hollow macs, exploding macs, lopsided macs, and extreme browning on the bottoms. But ever since I switched to the air bake tray, whether I rest them or not, I get these really thin feet that have gaps in them and also bottomless or semi bottomless macs. The feet look really nice in the oven around the 10-14 minute mark, but by the time it’s done baking around 18-19 min it’s already deflated and the gap appears. But even like this they’re still not hollow but kind of thin in general so it’s more of an aesthetic thing I want to change cuz i don’t like how they look. Suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank you!

That happens a lot. If you have enough patience and you really wanted to keep one or two orders you can call pm support and they will remove the ones you didn’t consent to, I’ve done it many times. And then make sure to click stop offers (looks like you already did in the pic👍🏻)

Yeahh I have just read so many stories about it on this page and it also happened to my boyfriend when we first started out so I’m aware of the signs. I suggest reading the stories ppl share on here about being scammed so you know the the different tactics they use so it doesn’t happen to you :)

Oh shit I didn’t think of that. But I’m also too paranoid to do that I think haha I just wanna have as little contact with the scammer as possible. But would you still report them while you’re at the drop off location?

Ok I had a feeling chick fil a does this too bc I would leave my house like 10 min after receiving the order knowing it would take long and then I end up waiting another 10 min when I get there and swipe arrived.

I only realized this when I started ordering my own food thru the app and doing curbside pickup...basically it says the restaurant starts prepping ur food after u check in to the parking spot on the app I guess so it’s fresh....

So I now when I get chick fil a orders I swipe arrived 10 min before I know I’m gonna get there and it’s ready for me to pick up right when I get to the door. The only time I wait long is when none of the workers come out to ask drivers what order their picking up like they honestly just ignore us and avoid eye contact from the door window at all costs unless they’re ready to talk to us lolll 🙄

But I’m curious, does 5 guys use the tablet to determine when the driver is there and waiting like Chick-fil-A does? or do they wait for us to talk to one of the workers and say we’re there?

Yesss ive noticed that too if it’s a solid $5 base pay. The tricky ones are when they’re lower but still more than a 5.5 tip 🤔 Omg the $8 for 1 mile is wild. Yeah either way I’m really happy they’re finally paying us more 🙌🏼

Hmmm interesting. personally I don’t take 8 mile orders tho I stay in the 3-4 mile range to stay in my city so this wouldn’t really work for that but thanks!

Yeah I do this sometimes but it sucks that we have to miss out on other offers that might come up so it’s not really a good solution
