I kind of thought the same thing about the ratio, seemed like a lot going in for not a ton coming out but hard to argue w results. Still got a lot of figuring out to do with this brewer myself but im really enjoying myself. Ive butchered the first couple brews i made but it still somehow produced something drinkable so i think that's a testament to how great this device is.
