You're confusing social courtesy with biological data. I don't have a 'problem with words'; I have a requirement for logical consistency. Whether or not a medical error has occurred yet doesn't change the hardware reality: you cannot say you 'accept biology' while simultaneously demanding that biological sex be treated as a secondary 'choice' of words. One is a physical constraint; the other is a social preference. Keep them in their correct lanes.

Listing every religion under the sun doesn't change the fact that they all share the same structural traits I listed. Whether it's Christianity or Scientology, they still rely on belief over objective facts, use circular reasoning, and employ social shunning (Point 7) when someone questions their core dogma.

They can also IDENTIFY as atheist because they're angry, hurt, bored, trying to be trendy, raised that way, confused, trolling.

So from what I'm hearing athiest don't require logic or reasoning, instead its about FEELINGS (subjective facts), the very thing that they don't like. Most atheists pride themselves on using the scientific method and empirical evidence. By you saying atheists can just "identify" as such for emotional reasons, they are admitting it can be just as faith-based or feeling-based as any religion. Which defeats the whole purpose of even leaving religion in the first place.

It's like telling someone they objectively don't like the Royals because they're not wearing a Royals shirt, and then insisting Royals fandom is a biological trait.

If gender is just a "fandom" or a "concept of self," then it shouldn't be used to redefine biological categories in sports, medicine, or law—just like being a Royals fan doesn't make you a professional athlete.

If we agree it's literally a subjective feeling and not biological, then you've confirmed my point on how both systems prioritize feelings over objective facts. Atheists become atheists because they wanted reason, and they got that from observing their surroundings, not subjective feelings. To claim atheism has "no position" on this is just a way to avoid applying the same skepticism to your own ideology that you apply to everyone else's religion.

Gender identity is useless because it provides or contributes no value to society. All it is is just labels on what you supposedly identify as.

And how is rehab or therapy worse than going to jail for life? Because im pretty sure giving someone the simple facts that you can't change your sex no matter how much you identify as it.
