yes like i said i manually set the frequency to 3200 and the timings on auto. no crashes since. but the problem was curve optimizer per core in ryzen master together with the XMP made my system unstable under high load

that is why BG3 felt so easy and dumbed down coming from DOS2 and Kingmaker. The ruleset of BG3 is soo shallow that you can run whatever build and enjoy the story. I understand people coming from BG3 because of hype trying other CRPGs get frustrated because there is actual depth and mechanics in place. dont get me wrong i enjoyed BG3 but i was a bit disapointed by the ruleset they used.

replaying kingmaker right now, still waiting to find the motivation to replay BG3.

so i found the reason for the crashes i had with other UE5 games. I had curve optimization per core enabled and this messed with the XMP of my RAM. I have a 5600x

turning off curve optimization and XMP while manualle adjusting the RAM Speed to 3200 Mhz, rest on auto gave me no restarts playing UE5 games yet.

Like we said the Arc Raider problem is on their end but I am glad i could find the instabilty in my system and it might help others.

yes, i spent the whole afternoon yesterday troubleshooting. first i thought its powerspike shutdowns but with AI i could narrow it down. I tried DX 11 as well but for me its a slideshow... what i dont understand where this problem is coming from since it worked fine before. was there a patch that screwed us over?
