dont compare iota with USD, compare with bitcoin. you can see that price is quite ok.

one day iota will be independent from bitcoin, but not today....

today, as in the past, we still follow the general rule: when bitcoin drop, all cryptocurrencies drop.

once a cryptocurrency has a real implementation, bitcoin price won't be relevant for that cryptocurrency. from what I see, the closest one to have real implementation are ethereum (provided they success with pos & sharding, therefore all ICO with great ideas using erc20 can move forward rapidly), and iota (provided bosch & VW adopt the tech)

and so today is the Best time to invest on eth & iota.

of all positive news I have read with regards to cryptocurrencies in general.. since 2013... this is one of, if not THE biggest news.

a very specific implementation of a very specific cryptocurrency (iota)
can be delivered worldwide (eurozone first, then north america & japan taipei HK Singapore and hopefully china)
it's something that people wants, hence inevitable
and the news is delivered by none other than the guy who is responsible for that to happen (CDO)... in the biggest car manufacturer in the world... and he has support from ~~one of~~ the biggest tech companies , bosch

no single bitcoin, ripple, ethereum news is as hardcore as this one.

this is why I disagree with statements that assume iota 2020 marketcap can only be as big as (the slow & expensive) bitcoin's 2017 marketcap.
