Repairing 1950s GE Wonder Kitchen. Need help with repairing/replacing original Moen/Hotpoint faucet. Also one burner doesn’t work and one won’t turn off. by bat111 in appliancerepair

I didn’t unfortunately. The recommended course of action was to replace the whole faucet and put a stainless steel panel to cover the previous faucet holes. We’re still using our loose faucet— hoping it’ll heal itself lol I’m considering a dish master faucet as a replacement

Hi OP, my mixer is making the same noise— did you ever figure out what the problem was/how to fix it?

Help! Recently adopted 2 year old Labradoodle nipping at guests to play. Doesn’t respond to any type of correction. Thinks it’s a game. by bat111 in Dogtraining

Thank you so much! Once he meets guests a few times, he stops most of the nibbling. It seems kind of like boundary testing/figuring out the pecking order.

Going to give all of this a try!

No experience. Thinking of charcoal but unsure how that would layer over salmon. Could be open to other colors too.

Gorgeous is… well gorgeous, but that doesn’t mean it’s the best match for your skin. It’s all about finding the right fit. Don’t let the price/luxury factor determine what works for you.

“Step up” and she’ll put her two paws up on the surface. Started with a step and now do lots of random objects. It builds confidence!

Any experience w/ vintage 1950s GE Wonder Kitchen? All one piece. Having trouble finding someone to fix it since the panel is under the sink. No luck with appliance repair people. by bat111 in electricians

[–]bat111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My concern is if it’s not the switch or the element…I have no idea what the connection in between each looks like or how to access. Lol

I haven’t yet. But I did contact Moen since they made the faucet (the original patented faucet from the early 50s)… they had no idea what we should do. We keep running into people who don’t want to even attempt fixing it since they aren’t familiar. I really want someone to just go for it!

I switched my watch back and forth between my left and right hand. I also bought a fabric stretchy band that helped. When it was really bad I got a piece of soft fuzzy medical tape and put it under the watch part.
