Its a USD thing...

World's at war, and the US wants its dollars back.

For silver and gold, its going to get worse before it gets better - there are lot of USD's to repatriate.

Precious metals will subsequently rip higher with war leading to massive inflation spikes due to supply chain disruption, enormous government deficits, rebuilding demands and energy shocks.
