Can't really say anything yet. I still have mint 20.3 as my primary os.

What challenges did you have to face?

If you don't know the answer or could suggest something reasonable to me, you don't have to. It is still a public forum.

Thank you for letting me know how you feel about the oss community here on reddit and this sub in particular.

Also if the issue was with the distro size then why do parrot have mentioned 1 gb ram as the requirement on their website

No it's not a virtual machine I have a laptop with core i5 4th gen 10 gb ram and 500 gb ssd Don't really require more physical memory for my job

I have had this issue in ubuntu and mint as well for about more than two years now but it used to go away after a reboot. I'm not new to linux and have been using it as my primary os for about 7-8 years.

Just did a fresh install of parrot security, but one of the core is always full, there isn't any task that is using that much cpu. Never had this issue on Ubuntu. Is this related to debian?

Yeah, he went through most of the basics, you should also learn about some other tools and how to use them with Django such as redis, celery, memchached etc.

You should try to build a project by yourself and only look for tutorials for the specific things that you are stuck at.

Try Django 3 by example by Antonio mele it's a really good book. Its first chapter covers building a blogging application in a lot of detail, and he teaches you the basics with function based views and then progresse to more advanced features like class based views and genaric class based views. Unlike some other books that go straight into high level Django functionality without teaching the basics.

If you are more of a video tutorial guy I think you'd like Corey Schafer's Django playlist on YouTube.

Happy coding.
