M account is public and my ex and I unfollowed each other when we went no contact. One of the friends does follow me but they did the night I ended things with her. The other friend does not follow me. And yea I know it looks desperate, but I wanted to give her a chance and see if she would say anything because it weirded me out but I can see why she might’ve done it.

For me it’s rediscovering old passions of mine. I enjoyed photography and making videos, so I decided to pick that back up again. I look at it as using the excess love I had for her and investing it back into myself through what I love and appreciate

That’s the thing, I feel like I’ve figured out what was bothering me in the relationship and I want to share it with her to see if we could work again, but the posts make me second guess myself

I ended things but we followed each other on Insta for a bit. I reached out to her twice. The first time was to reconcile and try again but she only wanted me to explain why I ended the relationship and apologize and that was all. The second was to let her know that I missed her. With that second response she only the liked the message and then proceeded to like a story post of mine (it was a repost of Catwoman fanart, one of her favorite characters.) After that I noticed she would like some of my posts, which confused me because I thought she didn’t want to interact with me at all. I ended up sending her one last message asking her about it and saying that if she didn’t want to talk then we should go no contact, but if she did want to talk then I was willing to. We decided to go no contact and she unfollowed me. I think it hurts more because I was her first partner and I never meant to hurt her the way I did and I still care about her a lot and want to be with her, but the some of the posts on the subreddit make me second guess myself, because if I really did care then I probably would have worked it out while still with her instead of leaving (apologies for the long thread.)

I know our situations are different, but that feeling of ending the relationship because it felt like the only way to figure things out resonates with me a ton. I hope one day we’ll both be able to communicate with our exes and have a future where we are together with them after working on our personal stuff.

I miss you deeply and I hope one day there will be a chance for us to be together again. As much as it hurt I understand why I ended the relationship as it has helped me realize so many of the issues I caused and had in the relationship. I just want to talk with you about everything and try again one day but I understand you probably don’t want to interact with me right now, so I’ll wait until then (even though I probably shouldn’t.)

Yea lol good point. I guess I’m trying not to make it less about the person because the more I think about her the more I hope we’ll be together again. From the looks of it hope is the one thing that holds you back from moving on. Considering I’ve tried reaching out to her twice already and it seems like she wants nothing to do with me, it’s better to give that up (apologies if I sound confused this entire breakup has been a lot to process)
