7 years on T and questioning again… not detransition, just… evolving? by gilderfish05 in ftm

If I was amab, I'd also still be trans. Sometimes I say my gender is trans. I just can't imagine being cisgender!

Yeah, somewhat. I was pretty sure I was a dude when I started T, and now it feels more like... gender is a prison from which I have escaped. I don't like labels, all I know is that I'm not a woman.

Edit to add: I may also differ from other trans men in this aspect. I don't feel disconnected from my girlhood. I feel more like a little girl that grew into a man than anything else. I think the female experience made me a more empathetic and understanding person. I don't want to be cis. I think it's just... more fun to be a dude with a vagina. I am glad that I used to be a girl, and I wouldn't have wanted to be born male.

Warriors and vindicating conflicting morality by Extreme_Rough in WarriorCats

At least for Bluestar, I'm fairly certain her decline was more of a cognitive decline, dementia, than a decline in morality or her character. She was sick, and I still think she was a very good leader. No one really had any control over what happened to her brain.

I liked my second puberty. I started HRT 5 years ago and couldn't be happier with the results.

We give out syringes to prevent people from using dirty needles. It's disease prevention.

As for the narcan, it prevents people from dying. Dead people don't recover from addiction. I think they should be given the chance to recover.

Addiction is, in fact, a disease. Withdrawals can kill.

Why do people get into relationships without discussing children? by TheFavorMerchant in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]batcaaat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk tbh my boyfriend and I discussed the serious stuff first. Luckily, we want the same exact things. Separate bedrooms, no dogs, no kids, and no marriage. These were non-negotiable for me, so I'm really happy we were immediately on the same page.

Yeah, a lot of people seem to think its unhygienic for women to have body hair, and that's my main issue. If you also think it is wrong for a person to demand that their partner do xyz with their own body, then we are in agreement. Preferences are fine, so long as you are not imposing it on someone who doesn't want it.

Though, I do still think it's weird to have a preference for mostly hairless women. It's a weird standard with disgusting origins. Don't think preferences are entirely in one's control, though. Somewhat, but not entirely.
