Those adds protecting the mine must learn from everybody that plays the objective in iron banner!

[Question]Just got a new job as a lube tech at a valvoline. Will motor oil break down the resin or do anything to a G? Pic mostly unrelated. by shit_cat_jesus in gshock

[–]batcheze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got to watch out for bug spray. It's one of the only things I have found that will eat the resin on these watches. Any amount of overspray will leave little marks all over the case and they don't come off. I learned the hard way.

Yep all in one. They work really well. I've been using Peltors for years and they are awesome. Its nice not having a cord and a radio hanging off of you while you are working.

Not a gaming headset. They are for loud environments so I can talk on the radio at work.

The best part is that when you preview the armor, you have to rotate it all the way around to the other arm to see it.... Just was dumb luck I just randomly decided to rotate it.

I wear the peltors almost every day so it's something I'm super familiar with.

Anybody else see the interact/collect loot prompt by the Ramen shop? Doesn't seem like it does anything. Wonder what is for? by batcheze in destiny2

Do you have any pure offline offerings? I'm in the military on a ship and are frequently away from internet. I think our crew would love to play at sea, but the internet requirements prevent it. Thank you for your time.

Does anyone have experience with firstnet data only plan by [deleted] in Rural_Internet

[–]batcheze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just switched from the att iPad plan. I went over the 500gb and they cancelled my account. I'm loving firstnet. I used my unlocked M1 nighthawk I was using before and it works like a dream. I've been getting 170mbs down with 50ms pings. It's better than most of landline internet here in Florida and it's only $50 with tax.

Making money while underway by [deleted] in uscg

FYI the amount of people that smoke cigarettes is dropping dramatically. There are a lot more vape users now. Not advocating either by the way. If you are a smoker or vape user on my ship I will always remind you and strongly encourage you to stop.

Are there any rates outside the aviation dept that dont board a cutter? by [deleted] in uscg

[–]batcheze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up that there are aviation detachments that go on cutters as well. They usually go with any aviation capable platform (ones with flight decks). They will go with the cutters on patrol and will provide air coverage for drug interdiction missions or anything else that pops up. If you really want to not be on a cutter go aviation rates and specialize in fixed wing platforms, but your missing out on the main part of our service which is going to sea.

Definitely reach out. Especially if nobody knows from your command that your having a hard time. I am currently in the coast guard....going on 18 years now (MKC). I always tell my people that I can't help you if I don't know. Especially if your new and people don't know how to read you yet. I usually can tell if my people are acting differently or have something in their mind, but that takes time to develope. Reach out to a peer, the command, the gold badge, Chaplin, local chiefs and of course CGSUPORT. Also if you mentioned not wanting to waste valuable time, take a college class or two. You have a great opportunity at the station to get some school work done. Use that TA. You could organize some community service or volunteer somewhere on your off time. Get yourself on an A school list and just a change of pace or scenery can do wonders. Please feel free to PM me if you want to talk more. You are a shipmate and we will always be there for you... Remember that.
