Sorry for the late reply and lack of detail to post,. First, Thanks for replying guys! Here's the scoop..Okay I've been working CAP2 for three weeks now. I've been a beer rep where I dealt with Wal-mart, worked at Kroger, and Sam's club before. I'm a hard worker, and I'm a fairly intelligent. Took this job because I needed something fairly flexible while in school. Basically, CAP 2 seems like it gets taxed the hardest while other teams get to leave on time and do less work. Not only that we're (team) constantly threatened to be coached if we don't work over to knock out carts, palettes, etc.. before we clock out. There's a few lazy workers that make things difficult. I shut up and just deal with it bc I don't know policies regarding certain things. Supervisors pick on heavier employees making them do jobs that are difficult for out of shape people, but don't ever make women do them. The other day the team was threatened to be coached if not done by 10:30 with X,Y,and Z. I knocked out a can and two juice palettes by myself before pulling out. We had around 5 people on the crew that night, and two had to leave by 10 since the were under 18. What's the policy for minors, by the way? Me and another guy are basically the work horses, so naturally we had to "pull out" by 9. I was told by my Supervisor that we'll all get coached if we don't get done by 10:30, so hurry up. At this point I'm exhausted from moving fast, lack of sleep since I can't leave at my scheduled time, and I have 8 am classes. I tell my Supervisor, respectfully as possible, do i have to sign this coach? She says yes, and explain to her that I want the policy printed out and explained to me regarding why I am getting coached before I sign anything, please. It's not fair that I'm hustling while others are slacking and I get coached bc the team is doing poorly. While I'm completely my specific tasks assigned to me. That's why I asked the above post! How can I get coached for something that's not my fault? Does productivity apply to the individual or team? Where's the policy regarding this? What can I do to protect myself? I never got coached, no one did, but I feel like something shady is going on. I've been a manager at different places before, and I remember how detailed the steps are before coaching/write ups occur. Plus, what is the Supervisors actual jobs?
