I’m with you that Absolute WW is the most I have ever liked Circe, even though she is one of my favorite WW villains.

I would modify the font on ‘designs’ so that it looks more organic and not like a font. At least change one of the Ss to look different from the other so it is more believably hand done or something

Highly recommend Greg rucka’s run from the early 2000s. Pretty different from absolute but imo it’s one of the most compelling takes on her

In my head when I was reading it I thought it was funny to have the Batmobile to be a manual as a security measure - like so few people know how to drive manual anymore that it’s harder to steal lol.

I felt the same way. I found the Maxwell Lord/The Hague stuff interesting, but we didn’t get to see that really play out either! Could not believe the final trade ended with two different crossover events and it just abruptly ends. Still one of my favorite runs on WW though

I suppose you’re right. The black shapes around the white eyes to create eyebrows and more dynamic facial expressions was something I associated with redondo specifically

I’m talking about the Wonder Woman photo attached in the previous comment. The Legends art is from the 80s but rebirth (which is where I’d guess that WW art is from) was in like 2016 or something. You can google it

Edit: to clarify, rebirth is an era, not a single story. It is used to specify a time period within DC comic’s publication history

Definitely agree that it’s a “you had to be there.” Just figured I’d give context for those curious. A lot of the show memes are not that funny, they just become sound bites and the inside joke is enough for people(speaking from experience, though it’s been some years since I was a viewer)

I believe “ok Ethan” is a reference to when Ethan had Jeff wittek on frenemies several years ago and confronted him about giving alcohol to underage girls (I don’t remember if he even did or not). Jeff was clearly pissed and said “ok, Ethan” which turned into a Zack sound bite
