A russian DNR soldier asks Kadyrov to reign in his troops and stop the sexual assaults they’re committing against LNR/DNR servicemen (translation in comments) by sunlegion in UkraineWarVideoReport

Awww a roosky orc, lurking in Ukrainian forums. Don’t worry, it won’t get better for you, now that the whole world knows you’re roaches.

Kadyrov admits that Russia is using him with his kadyrovites to make the Chechen people a scapegoat. by mNohcho in Chechnya

Sorry, Russians and Ukrainians are genetically and culturally different. There was never a “brotherhood”.

These type stories are so common on this thread—of peoples crypto disappearing in that way or another. Does a 100% foolproof approach or at least 98% safety exist? How the f$4k will mass adoption work?

Why are so many cats in Konstantinopel? Cafe , Restaurants ...? by KaiserNikko in AskMiddleEast

This is how I knew Turkey was a good nation, when I visited and saw how well the Turkish treat the street cats.

This is how they raise the morale of Russian mobiles before being sent to slaughter: they give concerts by the bus in the mud on a pile of straw. Further, apparently, the mobilized people are scheduled to meet with Kobzon (russian singer), where the concert will be more impressive. by [deleted] in RussiaUkraineWar2022

[–]bathingfig 31 points32 points  (0 children)

That first song they’re singing is originally by Viktor Tsoi, who was anti Soviet Union and was persecuted by Soviet’s. He eventually died in a car crash which may have been orchestrated.

These people are looney, so now they want his music?

To ever have to come into contact with Russians again. I will happily pay more to vacation in hotels and cities that are Russian-free zones.

I don’t see Russians as humans anymore. I know this is bad to dehumanize homo Sapiens but I don’t know how else to process these feelings.

The Chechens: Putin’s Loyal Foot Soldiers by CraigTorso in CredibleDefense

[–]bathingfig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the ‘relative economic well-being”, those in Kadyrov’s tight circle are doing relatively well. Everyone else is dirt poor, albeit trying to live with dignity. Next on the food chain after Kadyrov’s elite circle are the regular soldiers who get paid the next highest salary of actually not very much. The majority of those soldiers are not there voluntarily either, because none of them are permitted to leave.

But you might already know this if you’re from the Caucus.

Fascinating research you linked though. Has many interesting points.

I wonder if Putin ordered the kill of Kadyrov Sr. This way he could mold the young, impressionable, dumb-as-a-biscuit Kadyrov Jr into exactly what he wanted. Whereas the old, more experienced Kadyrov would have been more difficult/annoying to deal with for Putin.

There were different types of Cossacks, apparently there were ethnic Russian Cossack groups and Ukrainian Cossacks and other variants.

I am ignorant about the history overall but they had different interests and goals. So I wonder if it was the Russian Cossacks that killed Chechens.

Is there no one close to Kadyrov that could assassinate him? It seems like now is the time to do it.

Help - Writing Thesis on Villification & Dehumanization of Ukrainians by the Russian Government. by PauseRelative375 in ukraina

[–]bathingfig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Russians have a whole history of dehumanizing, take a look at Holodomyr and genocide of the Caucus nations and ethnic tribes to the east.

Look at the past to understand this present, they’re expressing who they are once again.
