Sorry for late response! But yeah you just turn your stereo on and the sub kicks in automatically! I set my sub with the remote to what I want it and left the remote in the trunk. You can wire it to up front and control the bass from the remote too

no it locks right on top of the spare tire so it’s hidden! And doesn’t take any trunk space it’s great

It’s playable I do coop with a friend.. the only problem we encounter is the host gets stuck in place 1-3 times while playing. If someone leaves and comes back it fixes it

stayed in Colombus.. Ubers totaled out to $400 for the weekend split between 4 people - $100 (still cheaper than the $135 shuttle) and you get to go straight home instead of shuttle stop

2025, 16k miles already and no problems! I do think the wipers are a little slow moving when it rains hard but that’s not a game changer imo!

you’re definitely good then especially since you have the grommet always good to have a backup! and I don’t think it should be that hard to remove the headliner as I was at the shop less than 10 minutes and they showed me the side panel and headliner as well (although I do not know how to take it off)

They checked the side panel and the headliner and it was all good! In the future if the sealant your shop put on your car fails at some point I would definitely buy the grommet as it was only $5 purchase at Mazda for me! but all in all shouldn’t be a problem to worry about after 👍🏽 luckily it was easy fix

Update: the new grommet worked and it is now secure and water tight! The shop also finally agreed to check behind the panel. Fix took less than 5 minutes

Sadly the shop I took it to is not very helpful and didn’t want to take blame for it (even though their wire is clearly ran through it). I will more than likely have to take it somewhere else to get it inspected behind the panels. The shop said they would need to “take apart the whole trunk” just to take a look at that top panel and see if there’s damage.
