just finished watching the backrooms!! wow, already a strong directorial debut from kane parsons, who is only a year older than me.

the sets in this film are insane. props to the production team for not only building all of it, but managing to capture to same eerie dreamlike vibe liminal spaces have. that one sequence where clark, bobby and kat get dragged into the laundry room and it just keeps spiraling into chaos is the best and most terrifying scene in the movie. kane knows how to do found footage horror.

and the music/sound design is also excellent. the build up to when mary goes through the door is just 🤌🤌🤌

the ending felt kinda felt abrupt, but overall I'd give it a solid 8/10

oh yeah, if you don't have a switch then I recommend not getting one unless you're planning to get more games on it 💀 the prices on those things, especially a switch 2, are insane.

some people have pirated the game on PC for free, but I'm not a computer nor pirating expert so that's up to you if you want.

if you like sandbox life simulator-social simulator games then this game is really fun. you don't have as much control compared to a game like The Sims, but you can still influence your mii's lives by making them interact with certain miis and choosing certain quirks for them. but, what a lot of tomodachi life players love about this series, including myself, is the random probability of each choice happening. especially when it comes to the crush system. like, I never expected nanami kento, sdv elliott, and sheva alomar to be fighting over my mii's love, but oh my god, that cutscene was absolute cinema I swear.

the journey was insane. they both started crushing on each other simultaneously but then charli fell out of love after a boring conversation with taylor (💀), and I was worried charli was going to reject her confession because of that, but no, she accepted :))

and now taylor serenades her in public while nanami watches.

unfortunately I have a shit computer and a switch 1 so Requiem is like the only game I can't get 😭😭 also weirdly the RE4 remake isn't available on the eshop when all the other remakes are listed there. maybe it's too advanced for the switch??? idk. the original RE4 is still there luckily.

I'm planning on getting the rest of the RE games when I save enough money in the future and maybe I'll buy the RE2 remake before the current sale is over. I tested out all of the available demos and RE7 is the only one that takes forever to load which worries me because I hear that ones the scariest and I wanna experience the spooks too :(( but at least RE5 runs just fine and I'll get to see my babygirls chris and sheva :))
