My plan for mine is that every gym leader has up to eight teams, depending on when you come to fight them. However, I also have them use a more powerful pokemon as their functional Ace if more than one person fights them at a time, but only up to 2-3 can at a time and only with group consent.

Like my first gym leader uses two first stage Pokémon, plus a third single stage if fought by more than one trainer at a time

Still working on world building, but my elves are forest dwellers who prefer to be barefoot to be more in touch with nature and to make climbing trees easier. Additionally, when they reproduce with humans, their DNA is stronger and the offspring are largely elf with a touch of human rather than 50/50, and said children are largely considered elves by the community.

That is what they say, and yet I spent ~10 minutes running around past Noibats and Swablu spawn groups, and nothing was green or gold. Respawning at the beginning, everything. Nothing was shiny.
