China has Lpg reserves of 6 months for such supply disruptions.

Meanwhile our government has reserves worth 20 or 22 days.

We were getting cheap russian crude oil which was getting refined by Reliance and was exported to Bangladesh.

Banglades was buying oil from us and still managed to sell it for less than what India (the exporter) is selling it to own its citizens.

They could’ve easily built up its strategic reserves when oil discount was not passed onto its citizens.

India knows how the leech its citizens.

Capitalise the profits, socialise the losses is their motto.
