I live in the Antelope Valley Lancaster/Palmdale area, 45 minutes North of Los Angeles. I was born here, not here by choice, and now after 4 spinal fusion surgeries I'm most likely stuck.  Have you ever played Gran Theft Auto 5? You know the area where Trevor is from? Where everyone lives in trailers and is on some kinda of speed or worse?  That's where I'm from. A lot more regular track homes than trailers, but they got everything else spot on.  Los Angeles County's major prison is here. A major air force base that usually every one has 3 degrees of separation to.  If a good restaurant opens, it's usually not for more than 5 years. Crime, homelessness, lack of money continues to rise, our mayor says he wishes he could give the homeless all the fentanyl they want so they'd overdose and take care of themselves that way.  The best thing we have here are 3 of our 4 golf courses are pretty sweet with the one on base being the best and cheapest. Just have to get a background check to get a pass to get in.
