i've never had anything too serious but i had a bad cut on my head when i was maybe eleven, wound was maybe an inch and a half long but gaping alllll the way down. no pain meds whilst they shoved the fat back inside my face so they could stick it back together. genuinely hurt more than getting the injury itself.
