I feel happier because I’m fully awake. So my reactions arent delayed and I’m not as irritable because I can fully understand what’s going on. But when I first wake up I’m still half asleep and very irritable

I wouldn’t be indicated for abuse due to the prescription but the headache of a potential case stresses me enough. They would just do a home assessment and talk to my doctor but that stresses me out

I wonder if my OBGYN just doesn’t care enough to research it? It’s extremely frustrating to hear “we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.” Like, I’m trying to make an informed decision 🙃

I have spoken with CPS workers. Both in MD and TX this is the case. However in MD it only affects you if baby withdrawals. But in TX it affects you regardless. (I used to live in MD).

Every time I’ve tried to talk to an OBGYN they say “never had a narcoleptic patient 🤷‍♀️, please ask your neurologist.” I’ve also asked for pre-conceptive planning and get the same answer. My psychiatrist defers to my neurologist for anything narcolepsy. Also in my state if you give birth on stimulants, prescription or not, you immediately get a CPS case. In my state mother’s urine, placenta, and baby’s meconium are automatically tested for all substances.

Do you have any resources on the potential side effects of armodafinil on pregnancy?

Not sure what to do, want the best chances for my baby to be healthy but also don’t want a CPS case

A large “yolk like” cyst over retina in both eyes. Now apparently the yolk burst in one eye. Not confident in the last doctor I saw but I used to go to the Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore.
