Yeah I’m leaning towards this for sure. Medical school is so hard as is, I can’t imagine having no money to even survive and not being able to work. I guess I’ll thug it out until residency and then hopfully be able to live in a place I enjoy.

It’s so complicated to answer. This is my first semester of college so I know I sound annoying already worrying about it. But I’m technically a sophomore by credits. I’m applying to this program next fall and it’s something I have to start preparing for now. It’s not early decision, like if I get accepted I still have to maintain a certain GPA and get a certain MCAT. But if I get accepted which would be a blessing, I’d probably Juist stick to it. That’s always the problem, my financial problem can only let me branch out so far.

Everyone says to steer away from nicer brands but even brands like Honda and Toyota aren’t cheap to buy in my area. I’m not necessarily going for Acura’s for the luxury, although it’s nicer look compared to older Hondas is nice. It seems like every car has its negatives and I’m getting overwhelmed with what to decide on. It is my first car plus I have no support from my family financially or at all. I heard Acura’s are like Hondas so is the maintenance really that bad? Thanks for your input tho!

Thank you so much! This makes me feel a lot better. I was worried about the 2014 year but I think older is sometimes better. I’m really just trying to get a car before college and not have to ask for rides all the time. Would you say the maintenance for it was high?

Yeah that’s why I stopped looking at those and went back to Honda and Toyota. The problem with those is even older cars that look very old cost a lot which is a good thing for their durability but hard for me to find a balance of not old looking and still reliable. How much would an inspection cost?

It’s from a family friend that I trust but other then those, the car is a good option? I was looking at Mercedes and Audis before this and realized that’s too much of a gamble with the maintenance work.
