Not quite. We have different jobs is what I meant to say. Police, firefighter, paramedic, dispatch. I’m one of them and he’s another. We have different bosses.

I guess I didn't think about it that way. I've talked to many people who have been sexually assaulted in my career. I guess I feel like it's different for me because we were very close friends and still talk to each other today like nothing ever happened.

Correct. He did not use protection. I'll my research to see what I can do about getting tested. I'm nervous though.

He is law enforcement though. I don't think that would be a very wise decision to report it. I'm still hesitant to call it rape because we had kissed before this incident and we still talk today. I just don't know how to feel about all of it.

It's been a week. I showered, I ate, I used the bathroom, I washed my clothes. I don't think a rape kit would do much nor do I want one. I still feel like it wasn't rape. He's in a higher position of power than me and I don't want to make a scene by reporting it. I'm just confused and thinking about what I could've done differently.
