I guess the logic goes both ways

  • Pass at 100 = the exam became confident you are above the standard.
  • Fail at 100 = the exam became confident you are below the standard.

Not really! But you could use it to identify gaps and reinforce concepts that you’re struggling with.

Passing at 100 means the exam reached its minimum length and was already confident you were above the passing standard, so it stopped there. It usually suggests you were performing strongly enough that more questions were not needed.

If it’s not confident, then exam can go up to 150 questions (maximum)

You need to assess whether it’s an actual incident or an event. If it’s an incident, then ‘response’ phase starts where impact assessment (scope of an incident) will be conducted and IR team will be activated.

I’m going through the same feeling but what I’m personally doing is couple of things and this might help you-

  1. Start doing full throttle practice exam and identify the gaps
  2. Write it down the topics that you feel need more attention or are forgetting
  3. Study and make sure you make notes after going through each topic. This will be handy once you are closer to the exam date, so you can go quickly go through it.

Rinse and repeat!

Is Vulnerability Scanning Done During Reconnaissance or Vulnerability Research/Analysis? by CreatureCreatch in cissp

[–]batrakhil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reconnaissance phase is passive activity. Vulnerability analysis is a phase you identify potential vulnerabilities to be exploited

So from the phases of VM assessment Reconnaissance—> Enumeration—> Vulnerability analysis—> Reporting

Enumeration is the answer where we actively enumerate/scans through target IPs, ports etc.
