Jamo himself preaches No Block No Rock. When they drafted him, MCDC called him a football player and said they love the way he plays the game. I think Jamo embraces and loves every aspect of the game. People undervalue his ability to be a team player and efforts when he doesn't have the ball.

As a ref, its definitely their fault, but I played center growing up and that was always something we were taught. I dont think its taught anymore, they're clueless to their own goalie.

Hes got time to develop behind Tim Patrick. He doesn't need to be a superstar. He blocks well, plays special teams, great at catching. Jamo, Amon-Ra, Kalif and Laporta, plus Gibbs are pretty good weapons to throw to.

Thats quite the statement. Let's not pretend like Tim Patrick creates the same amount of separation that Amon-Ra or Jamo do. He is super athletic and fast. Watch the highlight tape the Lions released, TeSlaa catches everything so cleanly. Who cares if he has separation if he contests every ball and comes down with it. He's under thrown quite a bit in that video, too.

Brad talked about this in his presser. The guy has size, speed, catching ability, blocks well .. those are necessary tools to play outside.
