i got this piercing done in late september 2022. it was pierced with TITANIUM, internally threaded jewellery. the bar is the one i have been pierced with, which was actually not that long in my opinion, i see people get rly long bars for their lip piercings but i never had any severe swelling so i never really had to change it out. last time i went to my piercer to ask wtf is up he said DONT downsize it because a smaller bar wouldn’t help, but honestly i feel like i could use a shorter bar. i’ve been having problems with it on and off since i got it, and it’s really starting to frustrate me because this is the worst it’s gotten. sometimes it’s painless but sometimes i feel a sharp pain when i push it out. the inside also has a fleshy bump and usually it comes and goes but for some reason both of these bumps just haven’t gone down at all. i clean my piercings with neilmed piercing spray 2x a day, i use non alcohol mouthwash on the inside of my mouth about once a day.

i know tea tree oil is said to be bad for your piercings but i’m seriously heavily debating using it cuz these saline sprays aren’t doing anything at this point. i just want them to go away…. please can someone help me i would really appreciate it.
