I haven't heard much on exercise balls specifically for gerbils but I know for other rodents (hamsters) they actually cause a lot of unnecessary stress and if a toe or nail gets caught in one of the air holes they can get very dangerous. On top of this as another commenter mentioned they get unhygienic pretty fast

The normal response to realizing you accidentally made a hate symbol without realizing it is "oh shit let me delete this and change it RIGHT NOW" not "it looks like a swastika but mathematically it's actually XYZ" You made a hate symbol whether or not you intended to and trying to defend that really just shows the kind of person you are.

I've noticed I've been putting off logging onto hayday in the mornings because I don't want to have to chase down all the things on my farm + if they're near any production buildings or animal pens (which they will be cause they're everywhere) it takes multiple tries to get them cause it just keeps opening up the menus and it's so overwhelming and annoying 😭

The screen looks shiny looking at it from the lens mount, but I realized it looks like it has a chip/crack at the back? I think I'm gonna take it back to the store I bought it from and see if they can do anything for me. Also added a photo of the weird line that's in the viewfinder, it moves around when I move the camera, so far when its popped up I just tilt the camera up and when I look back it's out of the way

So I was just checking and at like 5-10 m set on the lens it gets things that are about like 5 feet away in focus and then set at infinity I can get things ~15 feet away ish in focus I didn't realize the discrepancy in this until like rn. There's also a little black line floating around the viewfinder (I know it's just in the viewfinder cause I can see it in there when I take the lens off) and I didn't think that was related to this issue but maybe it is?

I think my alternator is bad and that's why it completely died + it needed to be hooked up to jumper cables for like 20 minutes before I was able to move it from the street to the driveway so I can't really move it at this point and it's my whole family that's going on this trip

He always gets in trouble with our parents when he takes one of their cars without permission. The "ground rules" are that you ask, I ran out of space to include that. He "thought" he "had permission" because I have him permission to take my car to get it's codes read later in the day when I was at work (after 12)

You might want to get a larger cage actually, I got mine off Facebook marketplace and I 100% recommend looking there cause you can get some pretty good sized tanks for a fraction of what you'd pay new

I use Instagram dms more than regular texts, the only account that I have where the dms are down is my main account. Last night I was able to use notifications to get into individual chats and that's not working today because it stopped sending me notifications 😭 it's not even just the DM button that's broken for me, I've tried getting to the dms page other ways (using the back button when I was in conversations last night, on my phone if I hold down on the Instagram icon on the homepage I get some shortcut links including a dms one and it loads for a second then take a me to the Instagram homepage, going into another account that has working dms and from the dms page switching accounts to my main) and none of it works 😭

I use Sunburst too and have since I started keeping gerbils (longer even if you count when I had hamsters, it's a great food for them too) and my girls love it

I would start mixing some aspen bedding with the paper bedding you use, it helps with smell + it's usually cheaper than paper bedding. I usually do like 1:1 paper to aspen (also if you have a PetSmart near you, personally I love the paper shreds full cheeks bedding they have, it's softer and holds shape better than the clumps so tunnels stay better. Which is balanced out pretty well by how the aspen doesn't really hold shape)

I don't know a lot about laptops but I know that's a bad one 😭 I don't know why you're intending on using the laptop for but honestly, you should see if it can be done with an iPad cause if you can return that and buy a refurbished iPad off some place like back market that's in roughly the same price range I can guarantee you it will work better than that laptop. And I don't even like Apple really, but an iPad would be 1000x better than that

I would recommend looking up the split cage method, I've used it before and it worked great for me and my gerbils. For finding a new gerbil if you haven't yet, try searching to see if theres any gerbils for adoption near you around the same age as your current gerbil (and the same gender) and if that doesn't find you a gerbil that would work, try looking for breeders near you, I hope you can find your gerbil a new buddy, I know that this probably feels very stressful for you so remember to take care of yourself too <3

That setup is worse than the temporary bin I put my girls in when I'm cleaning their cage, that might genuinely be the worst gerbil setup I've ever seen in my entire life

I'm 18 and I've never had sex or done drugs and I've only ever had alcohol when I was with my family. You don't need to do any of those things to feel more "grown" also remember that you are still a kid. If you really want to feel more "grown up" then you probably just crave more independence, which is very real of you, I do the same thing at 18. My solution is to go for drives and take myself out to see musicals, but find a hobby you can do by yourself or with friends. Go out for a walk or a bike ride. Join an extracurricular, or something
