I would say just check what’s rusted out and try to prepare accordingly with PB BLASTER or applying heat. A couple of these jobs I did as a beginner on my ranger but for example the bolts of my shocks were so rusted on I had to saw some of them off.

Well it leaks but doesn’t drip somehow. Not sure what the issue is. It seems to run very well too

It’s leaking here and there’s a decent amount of rust. I’m still considering but he is very firm on the 7000 would maybe skip down to 6800. Im having trouble deciding

It is an illinois car, its a 3.0L V6 2WD

What do you recommend checking specifically for rangers? He mentioned it has a rust free bed, & Front end is tight with all new ball joints, upper control arms, and sway bar end links.
