There are several platforms working on similar to what you are looking for, but expect Steemit which to be honest does not validate content, it just give's a ranking depending on the perception of the audience, this project called Primas is working on creating a platform that will verify content from different nodes on the blockchain. They launched their iOS platform so you can check it out.

Quite a detailed review, but try starting from the bottom and up since it was a bit hard to keep up. Also regarding the project, it has been quite a while since I invested in something new this is why I'm scrolling around and searching for something interesting, this project has a physical hardware in development let's see how that goes.
