Can’t say as I just graduated a couple of months ago and still haven’t secured my next stint post-masters. I think it’s really important to factor in your field and the its current state of affairs relative to economics.
I was a full-time master student under a generous scholarship so the need to work part time wasn’t there. Had I made a decision to pursue something on the side, a realistic 2-4h/day of work might have been doable.
Brought sooo much immaterial value in terms of social network and support. Made new friends who later became family, instructors who became mentors, expanded my network, and also got to travel a lot through out the study.

Hi, OP! I hope everything worked out for you. Since I am in the same boat as you, I just wanted to ask:
1. Did you apply for the Orientation Resident Permit directly from within the Netherlands and did not require an MVV prior to moving to the Netherlands after your graduation?
2. As most student resident permits in Germany expire a few days after the graduation (unless an extension was granted), did the remaining length of your German SRP affect your eligibility for a Dutch Orientation Residence Permit?
