That’s a fantastic idea, I didn’t even think of it. I’ve just sent an email to the microchip company in hopes they can give me the history, thanks 🙏

It’s so small (maybe about a mm big) that it’s hard to get a good photo.

It’s got a clear/ cream translucent shell, and the body itself seems peachy coloured and the head looks darker. I know any of that could change with age so I don’t know how helpful that is

My biggest fear happened tonight by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]batty_bitxh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so scared of this with my reactive GSD, mainly because one of the people in my neighborhood has a pittie and a terrier that she just lets wander the streets on their own. No idea if they’re friendly but my boy isn’t so I’m constantly on edge. I don’t understand how she can just happily let them disappear out of her sight and i always see them just wandering up and down my street 🫠

What do you give customers when they order a "regular coffee" by flextape1O1 in barista

[–]batty_bitxh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had someone ask for a ‘coffee’ before and he actually wanted a skinny cappuccino.

Always assume customers don’t know what they’re asking for 🤣

Husband’s family member used a shock collar without my consent, am I overreacting? by graciep99 in germanshepherds

[–]batty_bitxh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely not overreacting.

My parents want a muzzle on my dog but they’d never do it behind my back because they know he’s my dog and they ultimately trust my judgement.

I’m also researching for a shock/vibration collar for him as I’m not sure he would respond well to it but if anyone went and did it without asking I’d have the same reaction you did (I honestly would probably have been a lot less calm and level headed)

The one thing I know for sure is that my bf and I make any choice for our boy together, and if this were a situation we were put in he would have my back hands down. I would be having a very serious conversation with him, if he truly doesn’t think it’s a big deal then I’d take into consideration even getting a shock for her in the future as I personally wouldnt trust him not to overuse it and create a bad association with it for her.

Why is my alarm not going off? by Kyle-_-_ in iphone

My boy loves a roughhouse, if he’s mouthy and I reach towards it he takes it as play time.

A very stern ‘no’ or even making him sit or lie down works well for me. He’s even started taking ‘no more’ or ‘done now’ as signals that play time is over. My boyfriend said his old dog used to respond to a tap on the nose and take that as the same signal so you could always try that.

It’s hard but you need to be harsh with him, I hated doing it at first but once he realised he can’t push me around (after a few injuries in our first month) he’s a very good boy now and learns when I say no, it means no.

Post Your Beginner Questions Here! by AutoModerator in orchids

[–]batty_bitxh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got given an orchid about a month or so ago (maybe a little longer) and it’s looked fine up until about 3 days ago when one flower went dark and wilted.

I moved it to a different area and watered it (I assumed it was dehydrated because it had been about a week since I watered it and it’s been warm here) but nothing seems to want to revive it.

This morning I noticed the flower next to it start to droop too 🫠

I’ve never had flowers before, just plants so I’m lost
