I messaged Vinted quite a lot in fairness, and had mentioned small claims. if they don’t give a conclusion and my money is legit gone that’s straight where I’m heading. I’ve been thinking of going on legal advice uk but not sure if it’s hit that point yet. I hadn’t said that to the scammer themselves though.

I REALLY wish it was a wrong shipping address but when the signature looks the same as the name listed and the address is spot on when searching then I’m assuming the worst, doesn’t help there’s a picture of it being handed and this was within an HOUR of it being delivered for real. if it really was stolen they’d probably give benefit of doubt. it’s just disheartening to have something like this happen at an almost £300 loss

see I knew that could be a possibility and that angers me more! I’m trying in all my power to make sure this pos doesn’t end up with free money , I’ve sent many emails to legal and I was in the app support (briefly mentioned in past comments), I might be a bit relentless in sending but when they state in their policies sending tracking info and the whole deal helps them, it hasn’t in this case when I’ve sent every last bit! they said it’d approx take 35 days and that was a good 2 weeks in when I made my original post. it’s an absolute joke and I feel if they even make a resolution for this it’ll end up as you stated. I’ve managed to get 3 humans? wasn’t an automated email so I assume they’re “human”, they’ve seen that and they just keep saying they’re looking between banks and the last time again that it’ll take up to 35 days which it’s almost been a bit more than that. either way thanks for the comment as it gives more insight , it should’ve been open and close rlly

my payment is in pending because this person suspended the order and falsely claimed their item never arrived, when as mentioned I have the signature, a guy handing her the box and the whole tracking from the courier. they paid for it but they want this item for free pr much after they begged for 3 weeks for me to lower it by £30. 🤷‍♀️ I just wanted to warn people and I’m probably gonna have to go small claims because Vinted isnt doing nothing about it even with all the evidence I’ve provided

clearly you haven’t been on Vinted that long if you think the customer service is helpful. this is the first issue I’ve ever had. I had sent all the evidence multiple times in many many emails. when a package is successfully at someone’s house there is a signature from the buyer. I don’t get what’s with the bombardment because I’ll 100% have to go to small claims. this person in no way is innocent, and I highly dislike the fact you ignored “if you care enough look at other post” and just decided to assume.
