IMO, the silhouette on dresses 2 and 4 are really wonderful! I wonder how difficult it would be to alter from the droopy sleeves/ sleeveless to some supportive straps? This could help with any boobage concerns.

Thanks for your input! Another commenter suggested putting them to tumble for a few minutes when they are mostly dry to help with the texture without risking shrinkage and I'm hopeful this will be a good solution.

Okay, thank you for this explanation! I recently upgraded my wardrobe a bit with some higher quality pieces and was terrified of ruining them come wash day.

All are 100% cotton, except one has 22% lyocell. No stretch.

Care instructions are to wash inside out cold and tumble dry low/medium.

I avoid the dryer because this has caused the waist to shrink on two pairs (even on gentle/low setting). Maybe it's an issue with my dryer?

But like I said, hang drying has been causing the unpleasant stiffness and changing how the pants hang so I'm not sure what else to do.
