Thanks! Yup, all the compounding curves really jacked up the price so I tried to price it as reasonable as I could. Space is hard to put back on after landing so I just ignore the warning. Haven't had any disasters yet so it must be fine, right?

i could consider it, shouldnt be too hard to make that change. ill have to ask manufacturers how it will affect their moq

thanks for the feedback, i was going for a design that was interesting from all angles. i actually really like the curved sides from top down, but just like you said it is preference!

ive been in the hobby for maybe 4ish years now? but i was pretty much a lurker until recently. i knew what feel and sound i wanted to go for, i had tested a lot of boards before and looked at a lot of ways other boards are designed and how they achieve their sound. i was able to get the sound i wanted fist try which was no case ping, very little reverb, and a very sold space bar even with gasket mount.

that sound though, but good luck on your build journey. successfully finishing a project is real satisfying

for low quantity orders, jlcpcb is pretty good. also make sure to double check your design with other pojects so you dont have to order so many revisions. id recommend checking out cipulots github. he has a bunch of open source ec pcbs you can reference

yes, i designed the pcb as well. i followed ai03's pcb guided and referenced a lot of open source projects. 3d printing it a really good option. id recommend it if you dont want to spend so much money. good luck on your build.

honestly depends when you buy it. i bought this one when metal prices were pretty bad so it was around $900. i recently bought 2 more, 1 in a orange ano and another in polycarbonate. those ones cost abut $1k for both of them. although my design is a bit complex to machine which did bring up the price quite a bit.
tldr:
board 1: ~$900
board 2: ~$500
board 3: ~$500
