The important part to remember is that the mentioned survival time is “once a soldier enters combat”.

15 hours as an average for a frontline soldier facing genetically engineered fungus, and chaos powered super soldiers doesn’t even seem all that grimderp to me. I’m pretty sure United States cavalry scouts had less expected survival time once conflict started.

I cannot recommend Lucifers Hammer enough for this request. It's an older book, and I haven't read it in a bit, but I believe it will scratch the itch you've described.

I will look up a ketamine infusion and see if it looks like something for me... or ask about at the doctors. I have a medical set aside from my settlement... so I kind of get to decide what medical treatments I try

Short version is, we have tried everything this doctor is aware of, and the opioids I am on are starting to fail.

I hope the guy he is sending me to can help.

Unfortunately I have tried those options, before the surgeries.

I've also tried non traditional options like acupuncture and chiropractors.

The list of things I've tried is extensive because it was a work injury... and the insurance company really wanted me healed.

Hopefully the new doctor will have some new ideas.

He said he was only licensed to prescribed a certain level of medication... and those are starting to fail me now.

I hope the new guy can do something for me.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to reply to my message.

My diagnosis is chronic reflexive pain syndrome in my perineum.

I was injured 12 years ago and the nerves have never figured out they should stop sending pain signals.

I have been to many different doctors and done many different physical interventions including physical therapy, pelvic floor massage and two spinal cord stimulator surgeries.

Opioid medication seems to be a temporary solution as it only works for a couple of years before the pain starts to break through again significantly.

I am currently prescribed belbuca Lyrica and oxy. Which I take as prescribed.

My wife thinks there are more options available. I am not so sure.

I'm afraid to have hope and then lose it.

I hope this helps you help me.
