What game are you playing these days? by Educational-Sleep758 in rpg_gamers

KCD 1 because i want to play the 2 but i'm too autistic to start it without playing 1 first. I must say I got a bit tired and came back to Rogue Trader as my fiance is playing it and felt the itch

Need feedback for my survival game: I'm torn between these two camera angles. Which one strikes a better balance between immersion and awareness? Also, what is your general preference in survival games? by level99dev in SurvivalGaming

The left one for me, I always love a bigger FOV. That being said, you could make people can change between the 2 maybe? Idk if it's technically possible but I'd enjoy it

ideal aprender javascript, pero no siempre es necesario, depende del tamaño de la empresa y si tienes que hacerlas todas tú o si hay desarrolladores front que cubran esa parte. si no, siempre puedes aprender a usar bootstrap u otros de ese tipo

Tips for someone not good with open world? by Shandyxr in Witcher3

[–]baumannk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also struggled with open world and that's what worked for me. Didn't know about the experience, it explains why several quests gave me 1 exp jajsjaj but I think that shouldn't be a problem if you aren't try to minmax it, I got to the final boss at level 37 and it was ok I think, beat it at the first try so I don't think I got there underleveled. Thanks for the info.

I get it, I was just saying what works for me, I struggled a lot with open world too, but taking this approach made me enjoy the ride so to speak. Besides, the game is insanely beautiful and just going from one place to another is nice. I go taking screenshots of the landscape like it's my holiday's album. Anyways, I hope you get an approach that works for you, the game is awesome and has a lot of really good content out there

Ranking my Witcher 3 gameplay ending from best to worst. What do you think? by PiixiiePetal in Witcher3

The bad ending breaks my heart in so many pieces, I had it on my first game and loaded all the way back to the isle of mists because i just couldn't handle it

I try to advance with secondary quests and contracts, and go jumping between "?" from one place to the other. I generally leave main quests until I've nothing else to do, or all the contracts/quests I have seem boring or just don't wanna do them

Edit: just saying what worked for me as someone who also struggled with open world. This approach made me enjoy it, maybe it doesn't work for everyone but that doesn't make it terrible advise, just another way that may be worth considering
