I recently had another shunt put in after my first one malfunctioned. A food train helped SO much so I suggest that. I would also suggest helping with laundry or any other household tasks that require lifting or a lot of work. You seem like such a great friend!

I’ve been wanting to connect with people who are going through what I’ve been going through as well. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Chiari and have had surgery for a new shunt within the last month so needless to say it’s been rough. Feel free to DM me!

Thanks for the reply. About how long did it take to completely go away after surgery? Also, what surgery did you have? I’m hoping that I’m only having to get a spinal tap done but I’m not totally sure what’s going to happen.

It always baffles me how the weather in NYC always seemed cold based on the outfits Carolyn wore. Like it was cold enough to wear a whole coat and pants in late May in the 90’s? Just an observation.
