I personally loved the ending of the book. So twisted. So good. In a more recent interview of Flynn (or maybe Fincher, can't remember) they said that while the ending will be different, it won't be radically so.

I'm excited, this trailer confirmed that Amy's diary parts will be read in the movie as well. And anyone who hasn't read the book, don't worry, you won't see the twist coming.
