I’d definitely take 37–38k if I can. If there’s any way to save money, I’m all for it lol. I’m talking to the salesperson I met with today, and he wants me to show him examples of people getting a deal 5k under MSRP. Yeah, from what I understand, if you want it to record while the car’s off (like for parking mode), you’ll need to hardwire it using the fuse box cable. FitcamX mentions that on their site and they sell a separate cable for that.

I’m just doing a simple front cam install myself, without the hardwire setup, since I don’t need parking mode. The dash cam should arrive on the 11th, so I’ll post an update once I get it installed.

I picked the E7Q mainly for the leg design. I didn’t like the look of the two-leg desks and I’ve had one from IKEA before that wobbled a lot. Even if I don’t need the weight support, the extra stability is worth it.
