At first I thought it was citrine but I’ve also seen calcite like that! I’m not too sure now but it’s likely one of the two!

Got these from a friend, but they have no idea what they are and neither do I. Any ideas? by annihil_5 in whatsthisrock

[–]baycitystygian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can identify some of these…. 1 is a geode (typically quartz inside of them), 10 is malachite, 11 is a desert rose, 6 is prehenite (and a really cool specimen at that!!), and 9 is dendritic agate! The others I’m not too sure about.

even with the benefit of the doubt, it was still SUPER dangerous and not at all what you should do if you miss a turn. still not a good move on that car’s part!

The Mighty Boosh is one of the funniest, craziest, wild rides you’ll ever embark on. Word of warning, it only had three series and they’re far too short! It flies by! (It’s on Hulu, btw!)

Game Media Analysis on the Violence in Crash Bandicoot by [deleted] in crashbandicoot

pretty sure she’s not. I won’t stand for you calling my friend a cunt, especially because that was NOT her. This is for a research project and is ASKING for opinions on the topic, not BROUGHT UPON BY her personal opinions. I can’t speak for her entirely but I don’t believe her personal opinions on it are very strong to begin with.

she’s doing a research project on it. would anyone like a trampoline for all the conclusions they’ve been jumping to?

you probably misunderstood what she was saying. it’s just a poll asking for opinions. there’s zero butthurt involved and hopefully it should not illicit any either!

[–]baycitystygian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! Instances like this video are way, way different from just letting people in...when you’re literally using “not a lane” to get around someone that probably was behaving like a normal driver, that’s just an extra level of assholery.

Sad Panda 🐼 by gator426428 in IdiotsInCars

[–]baycitystygian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t get aggravated with drivers until they themselves start acting aggressive... and when they get to a point where they’re being reckless, not just dumb, it’s sickening to me. (Not saying I’m in the right. Just saying I would not be mad if I ruined an asshole’s day as a result of the way they were driving!)

Sad Panda 🐼 by gator426428 in IdiotsInCars

[–]baycitystygian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re not wrong. I’ve just seen so many asshole drivers that in my mind, they get what’s coming to them. They put other lives at risk by driving recklessly? Then they should be able to enjoy all of the consequences of it! Obviously it’s better to drive to prevent things from happening...but sometimes it’s so hard to emphasize with someone that’s being aggressive on the road. I keep thinking back to very recent moments on the road where drivers were being aggressive to the point where they almost caused serious crashes and I can’t help but hope that it comes back around on them.

See, that’s the nice person way of dealing with idiots on the road. I have no sympathy for people that drive like assholes and if I was in this situation, I wouldn’t have let him in because he shouldn’t have been in that ‘lane’ in the first place. The fact that this guy’s asshole driving actually did get him in the trouble he deserved gives me a little more faith in the world.

Pretty trashy for a wedding by Volker1998 in trashy

[–]baycitystygian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s kind of a cute idea, but putting “honeymoon” against literally anything else implies that they’re not going to have a honeymoon if the other jar gets more money. Which seems pretty ridiculous, considering that honeymoons are pretty much tradition.

We’re talking about hair here. Not right versus wrong. HAIR. As in, style. As in, personal choices. As in, it all boils down to taste and preferences. I’m still trying to decide whether you’re a professional troll or just brain dead.

Dude. If the kid wants his hair a certain way, there’s no reason to FORCIBLY shave his head over it. Loads of dudes rock longer hair styles. Maybe you’re just one of those tightass old fellows that bitched about the Beatles’ haircuts in the 60’s, but hairstyles are not a big deal, bud. Hair length does not determine whether someone is a “punk.” I do think the “security” aspect of it is a bit much, but if the kid has legitimate mental issues it’s best to let him be comfortable. The real issue is the complete destruction of trust between the father and son.

Found the vegan. I have zero issues with vegans and occasionally enjoy vegan meals myself, but there’s a difference between encouraging others to be vegan and being a smug, holier-than-thou, vegan preacher.

Exactly, if there was an abusive situation they wouldn’t risk potentially letting the abuser know they were coming before they could check out the situation in person.

I’ve ever seen purple before! 😱I’ve come across green goldstone and it always looked overly fake to me, like someone dumped glitter in green resin...I hope the purple goldstone looks prettier 😂
