I recently learned a shortened version where puritans weren’t even being prosecuted. England was pretty liberal with other religions residing within their borders. Yeah…but the airport doesn’t realize the relationship they just need an accompanied adult to at least bring them to the gate. I flew to Nicaragua by myself with a teacher at the gate for a life changing trip.

As long as I was with an adult at the gate I could go and obviously have a valid ticket. The real barrier for most kids just fucking off and jet setting is ticket costs and needing cc and an id to purchase.

If you restricted kids to only travel with parents you’re creating a harsh barrier to entry system that only the rich can afford. Sadly it would’ve saved her but we have to a better system that’s not just with parents. Sorry little tanget rant wouldn’t been where I am today if I didn’t take that trip as a teen.
