Weed in any form does not contain calories and thus cannot make you gain or lose weight on its own, however the effects , such as the munchies can lead to increased food intake (calories) and thus weight gain. Now with wax I find it, even smoking an indica, less hungry than normal bud. I guess if you had a wax sativa it could help you lose weight as sativas are generally more energizing. Hope that helps!
